This is the first part of an art direction proposal for a conceptual fashion editorial, taking "Remember the Blue Hour," Floran Polano's collection, as a starting point — photographs of which already exist. From that material I build my own narrative and aesthetic.
This installment gathers the research: the designer, the analysis of the collection, and the references that support the concept.
A Part II will follow, with the narrative and technical proposal —including the lead/photographer pairing envisioned for the audiovisual piece—, and a Part III, with the image-by-image detail (sketches, specific references). Both in progress.

* PART II and III coming soon...

This project is non-commercial and was not commissioned, authorized, or funded by Floran Polano. This study project takes as its reference a piece of work I presented for my master's degree in art direction, in collaboration with Núria Martínez Simó and Saúl García, for Elisava. The images featuring the designer, as well as those from the "Remember the Blue Hour" collection and his previous collection, are the property of Floran Polano and the professionals who conducted the photo shoots. These images were sourced from his Instagram, from interviews, and from the Not Just a Label platform, which represents him.

This material is published for study, inspiration, and art direction skill demonstration purposes, in accordance with the principle of fair use applied to academic and portfolio purposes.
