Beyond Massage
Martín is a holistic massage therapist and osteopath, renowned for offering deeply personalized treatments. Based in Lanzarote, he also works in Geneva, Zurich, Barcelona, London, and at exclusive retreats in Bali and the Aegean Sea.
To shape the visual identity, I drew inspiration from the experience of his therapeutic massages, the flow of energy he activates, his tattoos rooted in sacred geometry, and his connection to the ocean as a surfer—where opposing forces rise and fade like waves.
Martín is not only a massage therapist but also a surfer, so balance and 'going with the flow' are part of his daily practice. On the other hand, he has two tattoos: one on his arm and another on the side of his torso. The latter caught my attention because it’s sacred geometry. When I asked him what it was and why he had it there, he told me:
'Sure, Brain... (the nickname he gave me) while clean energy enters, the stagnant energy must leave. It’s a continuous flow.'
That got me thinking about energy flow: opposing forces meet, combine, and fade away, just like waves. That was the moment his visual identity appeared before me.
