A journey of transformation
This project is a fashion editorial proposal conceived for Vanidad magazine.
The concept takes inspiration from Clärenore Stinnes, the first person to circumnavigate the globe by car in 1927. A pioneer in both spirit and action, Stinnes defied social and physical limitations of her time, turning her journey into a symbol of freedom, endurance, and transformation.
The concept takes inspiration from Clärenore Stinnes, the first person to circumnavigate the globe by car in 1927. A pioneer in both spirit and action, Stinnes defied social and physical limitations of her time, turning her journey into a symbol of freedom, endurance, and transformation.
Rather than recreating the 1920s literally, this proposal reinterprets her legacy through a contemporary lens, blending visual codes across time to reflect an internal evolution. This project explores the personal and emotional path of a pioneering woman. From the initial drive and determination, she undergoes a process of shedding what is unnecessary, gradually uncovering her essence and inner confidence. Visually, this evolution is reflected in a transition from structured intensity to fluid, ethereal lightness. A journey with no return, where the protagonist will never be the same as when she began.
Developed in collaboration with art directors Saúl García and Nuria Martínez Simó, this proposal reflects a shared vision in styling, set design, and storytelling.
